The Opening Ceremony of the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition of the Founding of Grey System Theory was grandly held

On November 29, 2022, the opening ceremony of the "40th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition of the Founding of Grey System Theory" was grandly held at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. More than 300 experts and scholars from both domestic and foreign countries gathered online and offline to reminisce about the development process of grey system theory, discuss the progress of grey system theory research, and seek a better future for the development of grey system theory.

Profssor Yong'an Zheng , the Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Professor Zhongde Shan, the President and Academician of the CAE, Professor Haiyan Hu, Academician of the CAS, Academician of the The World Academy of Sciences, and former President of Beijing Institute of Technology, Ms Suping Hu, an outstanding alumnus of Institute for Grey System Studies at NUAA, former Deputy Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Standing Committee of Shanxi Provincial People's Congress, Professor Hong Chi, Science and Technology Strategy Consulting Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, President of the Chinese Society for Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics, Professor Xiaochang Ding, President of the Jiangsu Higher Education Association, former Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, as well as Sifeng Liu, a renowned teacher of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" and director of the Institute for Grey System Studies at NUAA , attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Professor Wei Tang with China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Professor Zhou Su, secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Economics and Management of NUAA, respectively read out congratulatory letters from Professor Baozhu Guo, an academician of the International Academy of Astronautics, the former chief designer of China Aerospace Satellite Engineering, and Professor Yingjie Yang, the executive President of the International Association of Grey Systems and Uncertainty Analysis, the initiator of the European Grey System Research Collaboration Network, and the director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the De Montfort University, UK.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Yingdong Song, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
